LSF_DAEMONS_RUN_AS_ADMIN
Enables LSF daemons on the management and management candidate hosts to run as the primary LSF administrator. No workloads are scheduled on the management and management candidate hosts.
Syntax
LSF_DAEMONS_RUN_AS_ADMIN=Y | y | N | nDescription
Note: Stop the LSF
daemons before you change this parameter, then start the daemons after you make the changes.
You can configure multiple administrators in the ClusterAdmins section of the lsf.cluster.cluster_name file; however, only the primary LSF administrator can start and stop daemons. Do not specify the management and management candidate hosts in the LSF_DATA_HOSTS parameter.
Do not enable this parameter your cluster requires root privileges to perform the following
actions:
- To run external executable files and scripts (for example, elim and egroup) on the management and management candidate hosts.
- To run a distributed cluster environment such as DCE (Distributed Computing Environment) or DFS (distributed file system)
- To start the EGO services (that is, if LSF_ENABLE_EGO="Y" is defined in the lsf.conf file)
