Loading an Atom application JAR file

An Atom application JAR file contains one or more Java™ classes that implement the Atom feeds in your application. You must load the JAR into WSRR.

You can load your Atom plug-in framework configuration file into WSRR in either of the following ways:

• Use the web UI. Complete the following steos:
  1. Switch to the Configuration perspective if necessary, by selecting Configuration in the Perspective list.
  2. Click Active Profile > Plug-in JARS.
  3. Click Load JAR Plug-in.
  4. Click Browse, select the required JAR file, and click Open.
  5. Click OK to load the file.
• Use the loadConfiguration.jacl script. Run one or other of the following commands, depending on whether WSRR is deployed in a cluster configuration, or a stand-alone or federated node configuration. Run the commands from the <WAS_INSTALL_ROOT>\WSRR\admin\scripts_cell directory. You must enter the commands all on one line. The configuration type must be "PLUGIN_JAR", as specified by the -configtype parameter.
  • In a cluster configuration:

    <WAS_INSTALL_ROOT>\bin\wsadmin
    -f loadConfiguration.jacl -cluster <CLUSTERNAME> -filepath <FILEPATH>
    -filename <FILENAME> -configname <CONFIGNAME> -configtype PLUGIN_JAR
    -systemflag false

  • In a stand-alone or federated node configuration:

    <WAS_INSTALL_ROOT>\bin\wsadmin
    -f loadConfiguration.jacl -cell <CELLNAME> -node <NODENAME>
    -server <SERVERNAME> -filepath <FILEPATH> -filename <FILENAME>
    -configname <CONFIGNAME> -configtype PLUGIN_JAR -systemflag false

  For example:

  c:\WebSphere\AppServer\bin\wsadmin
  -f loadConfiguration.jacl -cluster cluster1 -filepath c:/tmp
  -filename AtomSample.jar -configname AtomFeedSample
  -configtype PLUGIN_JAR -systemflag false

  Note: In parameters passed to wsadmin, directory paths must be specified using a forward slash ("/") as in c:/tmp in the above example.
