Platform API Introduction

Overview
The Platform API is a set of function calls that allow a high-level language program to programmatically call the IBM Transformation Extender execution environment.

Requirements
The Platform API requires the use of a Language Environment (LE) enabled C/C++, COBOL, or PL/I compiler. It will work with all supported releases of the LE run time.

Installed files
Files for the Platform API are available for you to use when you install the IBM Transformation Extender on your z/OS environments.
