This topic explains the directions available for the initial
synchronization operation that occurs when creating the association
between an NSF and an on-disk project.
While creating the association between an NSF and an on-disk project,
you need to select the direction of the initial synchronization operation.
This can be one of the following:
- Export from nsf file name to selected on-disk project
-- When the initial direction is set to this, the initial synchronization
operation will export all the contents from the virtual NSF project
to the on-disk project in a suitable format, which you can then commit
to a source control repository.
- Import from selected on-disk project into nsf file name
-- When the initial direction is set to this, the initial synchronization
operation will update the NSF project with the content from disk based
project.
