mqsimode command
Use the mqsimode command to configure and retrieve operation mode information for your installation of IBM® App Connect Enterprise.

- IBM z/OS® Container Extensions (zCX). Run this command by modifying and submitting the supplied JCL or by using an IBM z/OS console command.
Purpose
Use the mqsimode command to change the operation mode of your IBM App Connect Enterprise installation, or to retrieve information about the mode in which it is currently working.

Syntax
Parameters
- -o operationMode
- (Optional) This parameter sets the operation mode
of IBM App Connect Enterprise. Valid values are advanced (Advanced Edition), standard (Standard Edition), and nonproduction. The default
value is advanced. For
information about the capabilities that are supported in each of these
operation modes, and the environments in which they can be used, see Operation modes and Restrictions that apply in each operation mode.
If you do not specify the -o parameter, the command displays the mode in which IBM App Connect Enterprise is running.
- -v traceFileName
- (Optional) This parameter sends internal debug trace information about a command to the specified file.
Examples
Running the mqsimode command with the -o parameter
When you run the mqsimode command and specify the -o parameter, the mode is updated, and you receive a report about any errors. For example, run the following command to change the operation mode of your IBM App Connect Enterprise installation to the advanced mode:mqsimode -o advanced
Running the mqsimode command without the -o parameter
When you run the mqsimode command without the -o parameter, you receive a report about the mode that is being used by your installation of IBM App Connect Enterprise, and a report about any mode violations. For example:mqsimode
