Deleting an instance of the CDC Replication Engine for Db2® for z/OS® Remote Source (UNIX and Linux®)

You can delete an instance of CDC Replication.

Procedure

  1. Stop CDC Replication.
  2. At the command prompt, launch the configuration tool by issuing the following command from the <CDC Replication installation directory>/bin directory:

    ./dmconfigurets

  3. Enter 1 and press Enter to list the installed instances of CDC Replication. Record the name of the instance you want to delete.
  4. Enter 4 and press Enter to delete an instance of CDC Replication.
  5. Enter the instance name that you want to delete and press Enter.
