Description

IBM Common Licensing offers a license management solution for IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) or IBM Rational® products. With IBM Common Licensing, your organization can track or monitor licenses and evaluate the licenses of various products that organization uses.

New features and enhancements

For a list of new features, go to the IBM Common Licensing download links technical document and click the link for the download document. The What's new section of the download document contains details and descriptions of any new functions or enhancements.

System requirements

Before you begin your installation or upgrade, ensure that you understand the system requirements. You can generate an up-to-date list of system requirements at http://www.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity/softwareReqsForProduct.html. To generate the system requirement list for IBM Common Licensing, type and search for IBM License Key Server in the Full or partial product name text field.

  • Do you have logs, traces, or messages that are related to the problem?
  • Can you reproduce the problem? If so, what steps do you take to reproduce it?
  • Is there a workaround for the problem? If so, be prepared to describe the workaround.
