Loading a new copy of a program or document template

This example task shows you how to use IBM® CICS Explorer® to refresh a program or a document template with a new copy.

Before you begin

Locate the program or document template to be refreshed. You can select multiple resources by using the shift or Ctrl keys (shift or cmd keys for macOS). For further information about locating resources, see Browsing and editing resources.

Procedure

  1. Right-click the program or document template selection to be refreshed. A menu is displayed.
  2. Click New copy. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
  3. Click OK to perform the action, or Cancel to cancel the action.

Results

The action is performed against the resource selection. A message is displayed in the workbench status bar showing the status of the action. The change is displayed in the view next time a refresh takes place, or you can refresh the view by clicking the refresh icon.
