Navigating to related resources

You can navigate from one resource to other related resources, using the CICS Explorer®. For example, from the Local Transaction view you can select a transaction, and open the related program in the editor for viewing or updating.

This task describes how to navigate from one resource to a related resource using the CICS Explorer.

Procedure

  1. Open or select the view containing the resource.
  2. Right-click the resource to display the menu.
  3. Hover over Open Related and click a resource to open from the list displayed.

Results

The related resource opens in the resource editor.
