Adding resource definitions to a group
This example task shows you how to use IBM® CICS Explorer® to add one or more CICS® resource definitions to a group.
Before you begin
Locate and select the resource definition to be added to a group. You can add only a single resource to a group. See the Browsing and editing resources task for further information on locating resources.
Procedure
- Right-click the selected resource. A menu is displayed.
- Click Add to Group. The Add To Group dialog box is displayed.
- The Add To Group dialog displays a list of all the groups in the current CICSplex. Select a group by clicking in the box next to the group name.
- Click OK to add the resource to the group, or Cancel to cancel the action.
