Log in to the Rational ClearQuest client

This module shows you how to log in to the Rational® ClearQuest® client. Rational ClearQuest provides a sample user database that you can use to learn about the product. This tutorial assumes that you are using the sample user database.

To log in to the Rational ClearQuest for Windows client:
  1. Click Start > Programs > IBM Rational > IBM Rational ClearQuest > Rational ClearQuest for Windows client.
  2. In the Rational ClearQuest Schema Repository window, select the schema repository specified by your administrator and click Next.
  3. In the Rational ClearQuest Login window, enter your user name and password in the User Name and Password fields, respectively. Select SAMPL in the Database field. If the SAMPL user database is not listed, contact your administrator.
  4. Click OK.
