Portability Routines in the CPLEX Callable Library (C API)

These portability routines are necessary for Windows users. They are also available for use on UNIX and Linux platforms.

CPXXdeserializercreate and CPXdeserializercreate
Creates a de-serializer that de-serializes data from a block of memory.
CPXXdeserializerdestroy and CPXdeserializerdestroy
Destroys a de-serializer that was created by CPXXdeserializercreate/CPXdeserializercreate.
CPXXdeserializerleft and CPXdeserializerleft
Accesses the number of bytes left in a de-serializer.
CPXXgetdettime and CPXgetdettime
This routine returns a deterministic time stamp.
CPXXgetnumcores and CPXgetnumcores
This routine returns the number of logical cores of the machine where the code is being run.
CPXXgettime and CPXgettime
This routine returns a time stamp.
CPXXmsgstr and CPXmsgstr
The routine CPXXmsgstr/CPXmsgstr sends a character string to a CPLEX message channel.
CPXXserializercreate and CPXserializercreate
This routine creates a new serializer.
CPXXserializerdestroy and CPXserializerdestroy
Destroys a serializer that was created by CPXXserializercreate/CPXserializercreate.
CPXXserializerlength and CPXserializerlength
Queries the size of the memory block currently used by the serializer ser.
CPXXserializerpayload and CPXserializerpayload
Queries the internal memory buffer used by ser.
CPXXversion and CPXversion
The routine CPXXversion/CPXversion returns a pointer to a string specifying the version of the CPLEX library linked with the application.
CPXXversionnumber and CPXversionnumber
The routine CPXXversionnumber/CPXversionnumber returns the version number of the CPLEX library in the version_p argument.
