Defining remote servers for testing portlets

To test, debug, or profile a portlet project within the workbench, you can also define a remote server for testing portlet projects.

About this task

You can test or debug a portlet project on a remote server in much the same manner as on a local server. Before you test or debug a portlet project you must first define the server.
