Switching to Java EE Perspective

To use the J2C dynamic wizard to create applications, set your workspace to the Java™ EE perspective.

Before you begin

Switching to the Java EE Perspective

If the Java EE icon, J2EE perspective icon, does not appear in the top right tab of the workspace, you need to switch to the Java EE perspective.

Procedure

  1. From the menu bar, select Window > Open Perspective > Other. The Select Perspective page opens.
  2. Select Java EE.
  3. Click OK. The Java EE perspective opens.

What to do next

Now you are ready to create a J2C application.
