Adding the Privileged Session Gateway or load balancer certificate to the virtual appliance

For a single node deployment, add the Privileged Session Gateway certificate to the virtual appliance and the Privileged Session Gateway. For a clustered deployment, add the Privileged Session Gateway load balancer certificate to the virtual appliance.

About this task

In an IBM® Security Privileged Identity Manager virtual appliance cluster, add the certificate to the primary node. After you add the certificate to the primary node, synchronize the other nodes.

Procedure

  1. From the top-level menu of the Appliance Dashboard, select Configure > Manage Server Setting > Manage Certificates.
  2. Select the ispim certificate store.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Click Upload.
  5. Click Browse and select the certificate that you obtained.
  6. Enter a label name. For example: ibm-session-gateway
  7. Click Save.
  8. Restart the services for the changes to take effect.
