Browser requirements for client connections

IBM® Security Identity Manager has browser requirements for client connections.

  • IBM Security Identity Manager software distribution does not include the supported browsers.
  • The IBM Security Identity Manager administrative user interface uses applets that require the Java Web Start.
  • You must enable cookies in the browser to establish a session with IBM Security Identity Manager.
  • Do not start two or more separate browser sessions from the same client computer. The two sessions are regarded as one session ID, which causes problems with the data.
