Setting up payments

To get paid for the services that you provide, you must set up a PayPal payment method through Connect Providers. You must give Connect Providers permission to transfer payment into your PayPal business account for the services that you deliver. You can change your account details if required.

Before you begin

Note:

Signing up for payments using Internet Explorer 11 is not supported, use one of the other supported browsers.

Procedure

  1. Open the Payments page. If this is the first time that you are setting up a payment method, you are prompted that you can choose one of the following options to receive payments:
    • Use an existing PayPal business account and grant Connect Providers permission to the account.
    • Upgrade an existing personal account to a business account, and grant Connect Providers permission to the account.
    • Create a new business account and grant Connect Providers permission to the account.
  2. To set up a payment method, click the PayPal button. PayPal guides you through the process and gives you the option to log into your existing account or sign up for a new account.
    When you complete sign up in PayPal, you are returned to the Connect Providers application.
