Removing associated goals from care team actions

You can remove a goal that is associated with a care team action. The goal is not removed from the care plan, but it is no longer associated with the action.

About this task

An action must be associated with at least one goal on a care plan. If an action is only associated with one goal, you cannot remove that goal.
Note: You can remove the General goal that is created and associated with care team actions that are received from third-party applications from a care team action. However, you must first associate the care team action with another goal on the care plan.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to your account.
    Your home page opens.
  2. To see your clients, from the Side Navigation Menu, select Clients > My Clients, or search for other clients.
  3. Click a client name.
    Their Summary View opens.
  4. Click Plan > Plan.
  5. Click a care team action.
    The care team action page opens.
  6. Go to the Goals section to see any goals that are currently associated with the action.
  7. Select Remove from the Actions menu of a goal and click Yes.
