Plan
From the plan, you can view and manage all goals, activities, and barriers for a client. You have access to all menu actions that you need for planning.
To plan goals and activities, review any suggested goals or activities, search the libraries for goals or activities to add, or create your own goals and activities specifically for the client. You can associate barriers with the client, and with specific goals or activities.
The plan has a navigation pane and a content pane. The navigation pane contains the Activities bar, the Goals list, and the Barriers bar. The content pane shows more information about your selections. You can hide the navigation pane to show more content. To identify a user who created or updated an activity, a goal, or a barrier, click the tooltip on the user name and review the care team member's profile and contact details, assigned roles, and organization unit (if enabled).
- Select the Activities bar to see and work with all of the services, client actions, and care team actions on the plan in the content pane. You can see how many activities are open, their status and progress, and for care team actions, who they are assigned to. If there are open barriers associated with an activity, you can hover over the Barriers icon to see the detail of the barriers.
- The Goals list shows all of the open goals on the plan, and the number of open client actions, care team actions, services, or barriers that are associated with each goal. Select a goal to see the goal details and to work with the goal in the content pane. You can show completed goals if needed. If there are open barriers associated with a goal, you can hover over the barriers icon to see the detail of the barriers. If there are open activities associated with a goal, you can hover over the Activities icons to see the detail of the activities.
- Click the suggestions icon for activities or goals to see any suggested activities or goals that are not on the plan. If configured, the current number of suggested actions, services, and service categories, or of suggested goals, are shown.
- Click the Add Activity, Add Goal, or Add Barriers icons to open the activity, goal, or barrier library searches. Type in the search field to find goals, services, client actions, care team actions, or barriers in the libraries. If you cannot find what you need, create your own ad hoc goals, actions, or barriers specifically for the selected client.
- Select the Barriers bar to see and work with the barriers on the plan.
- The content pane shows more information about your selection in the navigation pane:
- When you select a goal, it shows the goal details and all activities that are associated with the goal. You can show or hide the goal details and expand activities to see more details. You have access to all of the menu actions for a goal, such as edit, update progress, or complete.
- When you select Activities, it shows all open activities on the plan. You have access to all of the menu actions for an activity, such as edit, update progress, or complete. The available actions can vary depending on your organization's configuration and optional add-on components.
- When you select Barriers, it shows all open barriers on the plan. You have access to all of the menu actions for barriers, such as edit, associate with goals or activities, or resolve. You can view the details of each barrier, including the goals, services, client actions, and care team actions associated with it.
- By default, only open goals, activities, and barriers are shown on the plan but you can filter
what is shown. Clear the filter to show all items, or apply one of the following filters:
- Show Open (Default selection)
- Assigned to me (Care team actions only)
- Due to End in 7 Days (Activities only)
- Due to Start in 7 Days (Activities only)
- Overdue (Activities only)
- Show Completed (Client and care team actions only)
- Show Resolved (Barriers only)
- Show Closed (Services only)
- Click any activity to see more details. The activity home page opens over the plan. Click Back to return to the plan. If providers are enabled, you can see the provider for each service.
- Actions menu contain all of the actions for plan items. Some actions might be unavailable depending on the status of the item.
- If providers are enabled, the service provider is shown.
- If your organization uses the IBM Watson Care Manager Community Service Payment add-on component, the payment status is shown.
- If your organization uses the IBM Watson Care Manager Community Service Payment add-on component, the budget planning bar is displayed on the plan when you are planning services. For more information, see The budget planning bar.
- If your organization uses the IBM Watson Care Manager Community Service Payment add-on component, the New Budget action is available to create a draft budget when no draft budget exists.
- If providers are enabled, you can click the shortlist icon () to access a service provider shortlist from the plan. For more information, see The service provider shortlist.
