Limitations
Rule Solutions for Office might have some limitations, depending on the development platform .
Deprecated feature:
Rule Solutions for Office (RSO)
is deprecated in V8.8.1. This feature will be removed in a future
release of the product. See Deprecated features for migration
details.
The following limitations apply to projects developed in Decision Center:
In Rule Solutions for Office, you cannot create templates.
The Word add-in does not take into account frozen zones in templates. However, the Problem List displays warning messages when a template violation is detected.
After editing a rule in the Word add-in, you cannot update the rule in Decision Center if it contains template violations.
Custom rule languages are not supported by Rule Solutions for Office.
