RuleDoc content controls
RuleDocs use content controls to identify and manage rules.
Rule Solutions for Office (RSO) is deprecated in V8.8.1. This feature will be removed in a future release of the product. See Deprecated features for migration details.
Management spaces called “content controls” contain and identify rules in RuleDocs, and separate them from surrounding text. A small tab in the top corner of each content control shows the name of the control.
RuleDocs use two types of content controls
Business Rule: displays rule properties such as rule name, author, and creation date.
Rule Body: contains the business rule and the definitions of variables.
You can place text and graphics inside the Business Rule control, but not in the Rule Body control. To select a business rule in a content control, click the rule or move your cursor over it.
