You use this group of commands to copy, cut, and paste ruleflow
elements. |
Write |
You use this group of commands to configure the behavior
of the completion menu. You use the completion menu when editing actions
and transition conditions in a ruleflow.
- Completion Menu
This command enables or disables the automatic display of the
completion menu as you type.
When you enable this option, the
completion menu opens when you press Spacebar, Tab,
or Enter, when you click a placeholder, or when
you double-click anywhere in the rule body.
When this option
is disabled, you must press Ctrl+Spacebar to display
the completion menu.

- Sentence Completion
This option enables or disables the sentence completion mode.
When
you enable this mode, the completion menu proposes partially completed
sentences with placeholders. Enable sentence completion if you prefer
to build phrases by clicking placeholders and selecting options from
the completion menu.
When this mode is disabled, the completion
menu proposes only sentence fragments without placeholders. Disable
sentence completion if you prefer to type phrases directly.

Create Graphic |
You use this group of commands to add elements to the ruleflow
diagram.
- Add Transition
Use this command to create a transition between two nodes in
the ruleflow diagram. Hold down the Ctrl key to
create multiple transitions.
- Add Node Before
Use this command to add a task or node before the selected
element in the ruleflow diagram.
- Add Node After
Use this command to add a task or node after the selected element
in the ruleflow diagram.

Arrange |
You use this group of commands to realign and redistribute
ruleflow elements to make the ruleflow easier to read.
- Perform Layout
Use this command to adjust the position of nodes and transitions
automatically.
You can select the following options with this
command:
Incremental Layout
When
you enable this option, the Ruleflow Editor preserves the positions
of the nodes that you have not selected.
Auto Link Layout
When
you enable this option, the Ruleflow Editor automatically rearranges
transitions when you move nodes.
- Bring to Front, Bring Forward, Send to Back, Send Backwards
With these commands, you define the layer position of ruleflow
elements. For example, if you select Bring to Front for
a rule task, no part of this rule task can be hidden by another ruleflow
element in the diagram.
- Align
This command provides standard alignment options for ruleflow
elements, and a toggle to display a grid.

View |
You use the commands in the View group to show or hide the
RuleDoc pane and Vocabulary pane, and to change the display of the
ruleflow diagram in the Ruleflow Editor.
- Ruleflow Pane
This command toggles the display of the RuleDoc pane for ruleflows.
The
RuleDoc pane provides a toolbox to add elements to the ruleflow diagram,
a Selection Properties pane, and a Problem List pane. For more information
about the RuleDoc pane for ruleflows, see RuleDoc pane for ruleflows.
- Vocabulary Pane
This command toggles the display of the Vocabulary pane.
The
Vocabulary pane displays the list of terms and phrases that you can
use in your action rules (see Vocabulary pane).
- Pan
When you enable this command, you can select the ruleflow diagram
as a whole and move it in the Ruleflow Editor window.
- Zoom In, Zoom Out, 100%, and Fit to Selection
You use these commands to zoom in and out of the ruleflow diagram.
When you close the Ruleflow Editor, you do not keep the display defined
with these commands.

Review |
You use this command to review the errors and warnings in
your ruleflow.
- Check Ruleflow
This command opens the Check Ruleflow wizard, in which you
can review all the errors in the ruleflow. The Check Ruleflow wizard
provides an explanation for each error, and suggestions for how to
fix it.

Close |
You use this command to save your ruleflow and close the
Ruleflow Editor.
- Close Editor
Use this command to save your ruleflow, close the Ruleflow
Editor, and return to your RuleDoc.
