Configuring
Developer for z/OS® is built on a client/server architecture:
- The server component operates on a z/OS system.
- The client component is an Eclipse-based workspace that communicates with the remote system.
The Installing topics, the topics, and the topics, which are available in the help, lead you through the installation and configuration tasks that are required before you can successfully use Developer for z/OS. Before you attempt to use the product, ensure that your system administrator installed and configured the required z/OS server tools according to the instructions in these topics.
