Enabling IMS applications as RESTful services

This topic illustrates how to use the Enterprise Service Tools to generate artifacts for the IMS Info 2.0 runtime environment.

Summary

The IMS Info 2.0 runtime allows existing IMS applications to be exposed as RESTful services, which can be converted into Web 2.0 applications. To generate artifacts for the IMS Info 2.0 runtime environment:

  1. From the EST Project Explorer, create an IMS Info 2.0 project.
  2. Generate IMS Info 2.0 resources.
  3. Copy the XML converter to the remote system for compiling and link-editing.
