Launching your application

Before you debug the application, launch the application under the control of z/OS® Debugger on the remote z/OS host.

Z Open Debug currently does not support launching an application from the user interface, so you need to launch your application with other methods.

The method to launch an application vary according to the type of application, subsystem (CICS®, IMS, Db2®, Batch), and z/OS environment. Check how you prepared your application environment to find the appropriate method to invoke your application or transaction under the control of z/OS Debugger.
