Opening a mapping file

Use the mapping editor to open an existing mapping file from the EST Project Explorer.

To open a mapping file:

1. In the EST Project Explorer, right-click the name of the mapping file that you want to open. (Typically there is only one mapping file per flow -- see Mapping files).

2. Click Open With > Mapping Editor.

The selected file opens in the mapping editor.

Alternative method:

1. In the EST Project Explorer double-click either the mapping file that you want to work on or a particular mapping routine contained in the mapping file.

The mapping file opens in the mapping editor. If you double-clicked a mapping routine then it becomes the currently selected mapping routine in the mapping editor.
