Authentication
Authentication is the first step a user must take when making a request for a resource that is protected by Security Verify Access. During authentication, a user identity is validated.

Authorization enforces the security policy.
Quality of Protection
Quality of Protection (QoP) is the degree to which Security Verify Access protects any information that is transmitted between a client and a server.
Security standards configurations (compliance types)
You can configure Security Verify Access Base components to work with various security standards, including FIPS 140-2, SP 800-131, and Suite B. These security standards meet information security requirements that are required by the government.
Scalability
Scalability is the ability to respond to increasing numbers of users who access resources in the domain. Security Verify Access uses several techniques to provide scalability.
Accountability
Security Verify Access provides several logging and auditing capabilities to increase accountability for server activity.
Centralized management
Security Verify Access uses two user interfaces to manage security policies and the Security Verify Access servers.
