You can use SMIT to remove custom disk methods.

About this task

To remove a custom disk method, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Enter smit sysmirror.
  2. In SMIT, select Custom Cluster Configuration > Resources > Custom Disk Methods > Remove Custom Disk Methods, and press Enter.

    SMIT displays a picklist with the names of the specified disk processing methods.

  3. Select a disk method that you want to remove, and press Enter. SMIT prompts you to confirm your selection.
    Note: PowerHA® SystemMirror® deletes the characteristics of the disk methods on the local node but does not update them on remote nodes. You have to manually delete the custom disk methods on the remote nodes in the cluster.
