Running Process Tracker

Use Process Tracker to see which steps are completed, when they were completed, and which steps are currently active.

Restriction: You might not be assigned as a tracker for the workflow to which a work item belongs. In this case, when you open Process Tracker for the work item, you cannot do the following actions:
  • View the properties for the workflow. (Process Tracker does not display them.)
  • Change the workflow.

To run Process Tracker:

  1. Run Process Tracker from your client application:
    Option Description
    IBM® Content Navigator
    1. Start IBM Content Navigator.
    2. Click the Open Work View icon on the icon strip that is next to the navigation pane.
    3. In the navigation pane, select an in-basket for the tracker queue.
    4. In the details pane, right-click a tracker item and click Open Process Tracker. If this menu action is not present, see Configuring the Process applets to run from IBM Content Navigator.
    IBM Workplace
    1. Select Tasks.
    2. Do one of the following actions:
      • Open a Tracker item from your Tracker folder.
      • Click Status (if available) in a work item that you opened from your inbox.
    IBM Workplace XT
    1. Select Tasks.
    2. Select Process Configuration Console.
  2. Download the Java™ Runtime Environment (JRE) if prompted to do so. This prompting occurs the first time that you run Process Tracker if the appropriate JRE is not installed.
