This document contains information about the known limitations and problems for IBM® Rational® Service Tester for SOA Quality.

Description

The service testing capabilities of IBM Rational Service Tester for SOA Quality automate the creation, execution and analysis of functional, regression and performance tests for SOAP-based web services, including support for Java Messagine Service (JMS), Websphere MQ, WebSphere Java MQ, and Microsoft .NET Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), as well as any service that produces XML, plain text, or binary data.

This release includes defect fixes and updates.

What's new in 9.5.0

  • Support for a new browser-based CSV editor for datasets to edit the dataset. Eclipse-based datapool is now replaced with dataset that is built on new technology. See Dataset overview.
  • eGit is now bundled along with the product. So, you can store the test assets in the Git repository and perform the related actions using eGit.

Installing the product

You cannot upgrade IBM Rational Service Tester for SOA Quality from an earlier version of the product to version 9.2.1. If you have an earlier version of the product, you must uninstall it before installing version 9.2.1.
