mqsisetsecurity command
Use the mqsisetsecurity command on distributed operating systems to create the mqbrkrs group that IBM® Integration Bus requires for secure access to its runtime libraries and data.
Supported platforms
- Windows
- Linux® and UNIX systems
Purpose
On Windows platforms, this command creates the mqbrkrs group (if the group does not exist), and also adds your current (logged on) user ID to this group. You must use your operating system functions to add any other user IDs to the mqbrkrs group.
On Linux and UNIX systems, this command only creates the mqbrkrs group (if the group does not exist). You must use your operating system functions to add your user ID, and any other user IDs to this group.
Note: On Windows systems, the mqbrkrs group is automatically created when you install IBM Integration Bus. On Linux and UNIX systems, the mqbrkrs group is automatically created when you
install a shared deployment of IBM Integration Bus, or
convert from a single-user deployment to a shared deployment. On all platforms,
the ID of the user who performs the task is added to the mqbrkrs group.
