SPECIFICATION Subcommand (EXTENSION command)
The SPECIFICATION subcommand
allows you to specify the location of the XML file that defines the
syntax diagram for the extension command.
Note: At startup, the system processes all XML files in the Locations for extension commands setting
displayed in the output of
SHOW EXTPATHS. EXTENSION is most useful
when you have XML files that are not in one of those locations, or want to add a new extension
command to an already-running session.COMMAND Keyword
The COMMAND keyword specifies
the location of the XML file that defines the syntax diagram for the
extension command. This file provides the command name and is used
by the universal parser to pass the correct arguments to the extension
command.
