Effects (linear models)

- Click the Effects view thumbnail.
This is a visualization of the traditional ANOVA table. The predictors are ordered from top to bottom in order of importance, and the thickness of each connecting line is based on the statistical significance of the effect.

- From the Style dropdown of the Effects view, select Table.
- In the ANOVA table, click the Corrected Model cell. This displays all the effects.
This is the traditional ANOVA table for the overall model and individual effects. Note that townsize_transformed (Size of hometown) is actually not statistically significant; recall that the procedure used reduction in the information criterion to determine which predictors to add, so while townsize_transformed (Size of hometown) is not statistically significant according to the F test, it is useful to the model according to the information criterion. Likewise, the model may not include some predictors that would be considered statistically significant according to the F test.
