Running the Analysis

  1. To obtain bootstrap confidence intervals for proportions, from the menus choose:

    Analyze > Descriptive Statistics > Frequencies...

  2. In the Frequencies dialog, select Churn within last month [churn] as a variable in the analysis.
  3. Click Statistics.

  4. In the Statistics dialog, select Mean in the Central Tendency group.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Click Bootstrap in the Frequencies dialog.

  7. Select Perform bootstrapping.
  8. To replicate the results in this example exactly, select Set seed for Mersenne Twister and type 9191972 as the seed.
  9. Click Continue.
  10. Click OK in the Frequencies dialog.
