Using resource recovery services

Resource recovery services (RRS) provides a set of services that implement the two-phase commit protocol on the z/OS platform. Your resource manager follows the two-phase commit protocol to protect resources by invoking these services and providing exit routines. While Planning a resource manager presents an overview of how to plan a resource manager, this section describes how to use RRS services and how to code the exit routines. You can find details about each resource recovery service in Callable resource recovery services and details about each exit routine in Resource recovery exit routines.
