RACF processing on the new volume

If the system-wide RACF tape protection option has been specified, RACF authorization checking will occur for the new volume. If the previous volume is RACF protected, the new volume must either be not defined to RACF (in which case EOV will define it to RACF as part of the previous volume's volume set profile), or the new volume must be defined as part of the same volume set profile as the previous volume. If the previous volume is not RACF protected, the new volume must not be RACF protected. If the above conditions are not met, the new volume is rejected when a nonspecific request is made, or the program is abnormally terminated when a specific request is made.
