Resource Variations Allowed in Deferred Step Restart
A deferred step restart only allows the restarted execution of
a job to begin at other than the first step of the job. Job step initiation
and allocation of resources are accomplished normally. The following
variations are allowed upon restart:
- Variation of device and volume configuration
- Variation in JCL and data in the resubmitted job.
