Considerations for Fast Response Cache Accelerator

Fast Response Cache Accelerator (FRCA) is a Communications Server function that can significantly improve the performance of the z/OS® HTTP Server and the WebSphere® Application Server on z/OS. Web pages are cached within the operating system kernel and requests are handled without traversing the entire kernel or entering the user space. FRCA also provides the ability to perform content-based quality-of-service (QoS) classification by selecting an appropriate QoS policy for each individual URI in the HTTP request.
