IP Services: Prepare for the removal of the TFTPD function
Description
z/OS V2R2 is planned to be the last release to include the Trivial File Transfer Protocol Daemon (TFTPD) function in z/OS Communications Server. If you are using the TFTPD function, IBM recommends that you migrate to a supported file transfer protocol, such as FTP.
Table 1 provides more details about this migration action. Use this information to plan your changes to the system.
