Specifies the maximum compression level allowed for sessions
involving the host's application programs. Specify one of the following
values for compression_level:
- 0
- No compression
- 1
- Run-length encoding (RLE)
- 2
- Small adaptive compression table
- 3
- Medium adaptive compression table
- 4
- Large adaptive compression table
You can change the value of CMPVTAM with the MODIFY VTAMOPTS command while VTAM® is running.
