- MACTYPE=CRC
- Specifies that VTAM use an internal cyclic redundancy check (CRC) algorithm to generate a message authentication code.
- MACTYPE=DES
- Specifies that VTAM use the data encryption standard (DES) services provided by the available Common Cryptographic Architecture (CCA) product to generate a message authentication code.
