GROUP groupname DEVICES UNAVAILABLE — MISSING SYSCNTRL OPTION

Explanation

While activating a BSC or start-stop group, groupname, VTAM® found the RIMM or MODE option to be missing on the SYSCNTRL definition statement.

Note: The BHSASSC option might be required on the SYSCNTRL definition statement if you are using block handlers. (You specified BHSET in the GROUP definition statement.)

System action

VTAM does not include the BSC or start-stop group groupname in the network.

Save the system log for problem determination.

Specify the required SYSCNTRL options. See the z/OS Communications Server: SNA Resource Definition Reference for more information on the SYSCNTRL options.
