Explanation

This message is the first of a group of messages that VTAM® issues when the SNA Network Management Server is unable to accept connection requests from client applications. This occurs when VTAM cannot establish a Listener socket. The second message in the message group describes the specific failure that occurred. The message group follows:

  • This message indicates that the SNA Network Management Server is not able to successfully open a socket to accept connection requests from client applications.
IST1927I
