VTAM® issues this message is response to a MODIFY TGP command when there is insufficient storage.

Try the MODIFY TGP command again. If VTAM continues to issue this message, enter the DISPLAY STORUSE command to display storage usage for storage pools. Message IST981I displays total VTAM private storage information. If this message does not appear in the display, you may need to reissue the DISPLAY STORUSE command, specifying a higher value for the NUM operand. Save the system log and request a dump for problem determination.
Increase storage as required.
