Requesting Entry Key Comparison Checking z/OS MVS Programming: Sysplex Services Guide SA23-1400-00 |
|
The KEYCOMPARE keyword specifies that key comparison should be performed to determine whether the list entry should be processed. When ENTRYTYPE=OLD or ENTRYTYPE=ANY, key comparison can request that the designated list entry be equal, less than or equal, or greater than or equal to a specified entry key value. If the criterion (KEYREQTYPE) is not met, the IXLLSTE request is terminated. Entry key comparison is meaningful only for list structures allocated in a coupling facility of CFLEVEL=9 or higher. If the structure was not allocated with keyed list entries, the KEYCOMPARE keyword is ignored. |
