Rebuild Connectivity Requirements z/OS MVS Programming: Sysplex Services Guide SA23-1400-00 |
|
The system by default allows a structure to be rebuilt only when
it can ensure the following connectivity levels at the time the rebuild
is initiated:
When the reason for the rebuild is other than loss of connectivity, the application or the operator can override this system default by including a keyword, LESSCONNACTION=CONTINUE, on the macro invocation or command. If the new structure cannot be allocated with equivalent or better connectivity than the old structure, and the application or the operator did not specify LESSCONNACTION=CONTINUE, the system does not initiate the rebuild process. For a duplexing rebuild, LESCONNACTION=TERMINATE is assumed. |
