A name class mask can be used to enhance the performance of the IXLCACHE REQUEST=DELETE_NAME command in a coupling facility of CFLEVEL=7 or higher. By establishing a naming convention for entries in a cache structure, the name class mask can be used when deleting entries that adhere to that naming convention.
