Options of the login exit

z/OS Network File System Guide and Reference
SC23-6883-00

The login installation-wide exit routine can perform these functions:
  • Obtain a Global Exit Block (GXB)
  • Obtain a User Exit Block (UXB)

If the User Exit Block already exists, its address is passed to the installation-wide exit routine; otherwise, 0 is passed. The installation-wide exit routine can accept or reject the request. If the request is accepted and the User Exit Block does not exist, you can allocate the User Exit Block and return the address in the LEDSXS parameter list.
