If the processing attribute maplower is specified, the MVS file name is mapped to the lower case when returned to the client and all client specified names are mapped to upper case. If the processing attribute nomaplower is specified in the attributes, all entries in the exports data set are case-sensitive. Therefore the client mount request must specify the MVS qualifier with the correct case to successfully match the exports data set entry.
