The TS1140 tape drive (for write) supports the existing 3592 media types (MEDIA9 and MEDIA10) plus the new MEDIA11, MEDIA12, and MEDIA13 media types, including special handling of WORM (MEDIA10 and MEDIA12) tape volumes that have expired. You cannot recycle WORM tape volumes because they cannot be written from load point.
